Every April, the cherry trees all over the city explode into clouds of soft pink puffs. Amateur and pro photographers alike say the best place to enjoy the cherry blossoms is on the Capital Mall.
I say pack a lunch basket and a camera and spend a lovely afternoon in the pink.
As always, viewing is free. Located between Center and Court Streets to the north and south, and between Winter Street on the west and Capitol Street to the east. Street parking is available nearby.
